Analytics
See views, clicks, unique visitors and top blocks for your spaces.
Analytics shows you how your spaces are performing — how many people see them, what they click, where they come from, and which links pull their weight. You'll find an account-wide overview at /analytics, a per-space report on each space (Analytics from its card), and a snapshot banner on your dashboard.
Available on Pro and Business. On Free and Basic, the analytics pages show an upgrade prompt — your spaces still record views and clicks in the background, so the data is waiting for you when you upgrade.
Views vs. clicks
Knowing the difference between these two numbers is the key to reading every report.
| Metric | What it counts |
|---|---|
| View | Someone loads your published space. Counted once per visit (tracked per browser session), and the same IP won't be counted twice within a 5-minute window. |
| Click | Someone taps a tracked element on your space — a link, social icon, contact button, or image. |
| Unique visitors | Distinct visitors in the range, counted by IP address. Always equal to or lower than views. |
| Click-through (CTR) | Clicks divided by views, as a percentage. A rough measure of how often a visit turns into an action. |
Known bots and crawlers are filtered out automatically, so your numbers reflect real people — not link-preview fetchers or search engines.
Reading the dashboard banner
The analytics banner at the top of your dashboard is a 30-day snapshot across all your spaces: Views, Clicks, and Click-through, each with an up/down badge comparing the last 30 days to the 30 days before. The sparkline traces daily views. Click View full report to open the account-wide page.
The full report
Both the account page (/analytics) and each per-space page share the same layout. Pick a date range at the top, then read down:
- Stat cards — Views, Unique visitors, Clicks, and (per-space only) CTR. Each card shows a delta badge comparing this range to the previous one of equal length.
- Views & clicks chart — a daily time series for the selected range.
- Top list — on the account page this ranks your spaces by views; on a per-space page it ranks the space's top links & elements by clicks.
- Top referrers — where visitors came from (the domain that linked to you). Traffic with no referrer is grouped as Direct.
- Top countries — visitor country, by IP. Unrecognized locations show as Unknown.
- Devices — Mobile, Desktop, or Tablet.
- Platforms — iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, Linux, or Other.
Date ranges
Use the selector at the top of any report to switch ranges. Delta badges always compare your selected range against the immediately preceding window of the same length (for example, 30 days compares to the 30 days before that). All time shows totals with no comparison badge.
| Range | Window |
|---|---|
| 7 days | Last 7 days |
| 30 days | Last 30 days (default) |
| 90 days | Last 90 days |
| All time | Up to the last 365 days of data |
Analytics history is kept for 365 days. Events older than a year are pruned automatically, so All time reflects roughly the last year — not the full lifetime of a space.
Top links & elements
On a per-space report, the Top links & elements list ranks what visitors clicked, grouped by label. Four kinds of element are tracked: link, social, contact, and image. Use it to spot which call-to-action is working and which is being ignored.
Frequently asked
Why don't I see analytics on my account?
Analytics is a Pro and Business feature. On Free or Basic the analytics pages show an upgrade prompt. Your views and clicks are still being recorded in the background, so the history is there the moment you upgrade — see /pricing.
What counts as a view?
A view is one load of your published space, counted once per browser session. The same IP address won't be counted again within a 5-minute window, and known bots and crawlers are filtered out — so the number reflects real visits.
Why is my click count higher than my view count sometimes?
Views are deduplicated per session and per IP, while every tap on a tracked link, social icon, contact button, or image is a click. One visitor can produce several clicks in a single view, so clicks can exceed views — and that's a good sign of engagement.
Why are some visitors listed as Direct or Unknown?
Direct means we received no referring page — typically someone typing your URL, opening it from an app, or following a link that strips the referrer. Unknown under Top countries means we couldn't determine the visitor's location from their IP.
How far back does my data go?
Up to 365 days. Older events are pruned automatically, so All time covers roughly the last year rather than a space's entire lifetime. Export or note any figures you need to keep beyond that window.
Do my own visits show up in analytics?
Yes — opening your own published space counts as a view, and tapping its links counts as clicks. To avoid skewing your numbers, preview from the editor instead of repeatedly loading the live space.
